| Mileta Prodanovic Even today, when the predominance of allegorical contents over pictural accents is evident, Mileta Prodanović remains faithful to eclectic reminiscences that he started to cultivate in his works (paintings, objects, collages) in the course of the 1980’s. The recognisable nervous gesture from the 1980’s has disappeared, and ecstatic colours still dominate his large-scale canvases. In his works (whether we refer to the cycles Stance, Brandopolis or Rolling Skies), one can perceive a constant preoccupation with quotes from art history, which helps us cultivate memories as a kind of exercise for the purpose of preserving mental space.
