| Zdravko Joksimovic Zdravko Joksimović is one of the representatives of the “crucial core” of new Belgrade sculpture that developed in the 1990’s and has continued to the present day in the form of transformed expressions. The precision and meticulousness in processing materials represent a mark of his work as narrative wholes that hide the sensitivity of the manual method through the treatment of the relations and proportions of sculptural elements. The autonomy of purely plastic signs and the subdued narrativity in the works of this artist support the claim that sculpture must justify the material that it represents.
